About Me

I received my Masters Degree from Smith College School for Social Work in 2004 and went on to complete a 2-year post-graduate fellowship in psychodynamic psychotherapy at Cambridge Hospital. I came to the field after more than a decade learning meditation techniques, primarily at the Insight Meditation Society in Barre, Massachusetts. I have also trained in the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Program at the UMass Medical Center in Worcester, a program originated by Jon Kabat-Zinn, Ph.D.

I have completed Level One,Two and Three trainings
in Internal Family Systems Therapy, and am a Certified internal Family Systems Therapist. I have also completed advanced training in IFS Couple Therapy and have served as a Program Assistant for Level One and Two IFS trainings, helping to train other therapists in the technique. For many years I helped assist Richard Schwartz and others with an annual IFS retreat at the Kripalu Center.

As a Teaching Associate In Psychiatry for Harvard Medical School, I served as a clinical supervisor for interns and staff at the Cambridge Health Alliance Outpatient Psychiatry and Outpatient Addictions programs from 2011 until 2018.
